My own experience as a person living with a visual disability provided me the emotional foundation for a true sense of purpose. My unique life-challenges have opened-up the doors to touch the lives of so many children with developmental disabilities and inspire them to lead a fulfilling life in-spite of overwhelming obstacles. I am grateful to AU for giving me this opportunity to prepare Eagles to believe in the power of education to transform the lives of students with autism and other developmental, intellectual and physical disabilities and their families.
